Stroke is currently the second most common cause of death globally and affects one in four adults. About a third of stroke survivors have significant disability and one in five will have cognitive impairment.

In this interactive lecture, the speaker will illustrate what happens to the brain during a stroke. The causes, symptoms, investigations, treatment and rehabilitation of strokes will also be discussed.
