Recently, more than 80% of the world’s population lives under the light-polluted night skies. If you would like to stargaze in the urban area of Hong Kong, rarely can you see the Milky Way with your naked eyes. To celebrate the “20th Anniversary of International Dark Sky Week”, the lecture will discuss the recent issues of Artificial Light at Night (ALAN) and dark-sky approaches. By integrating science and arts, ASTROMAN will also perform his composed pieces of Astro-Music to provide a new multi-sensory experience to participants through interdisciplinary science communication.
