The Public Works Laboratories (PWL) provide a wide range of construction material testing services for government projects.

In this programme, we will introduce the services provided by the PWL. In particular, demonstration of our newly developed automated systems for concrete cube, steel rebar and soil testing will be provided to the participants. The automated systems adopted numerous advanced automation and robotic technologies as well as the application of computer vision analysis, which enabled the whole testing processes fully automatic and significantly enhanced the efficiency of the testing services.
