This workshop will briefly introduce the story about Flyman, a model organism, drosophila and it’s application in biomedical research. Further, we will introduce the concept of pH scale and the difference between acid and base. Since several fruits contains anthocyanin and it changes colour differently with the addition of acid/base. Therefore, a simple experiment using anthocyanin extracted from fruits will be carried out to test the pH of different food/ household product.
