25M048   Saving Sea Turtle in Hong Kong

Do we have sea turtles in Hong Kong? Do you know what they have been going through in Hong Kong region? Who will take care of them if they are injured?
Over the years, Ocean Park Hong Kong works along with Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) to rescue and care of stranded wildlife and confiscated endangered animals. Ocean Park Hong Kong has received over a hundred of sea turtles since year 2000. They were rescued for different reasons, and they were treated and rehabilitated in the Park, with most of them have been released back to the sea.
During the sharing, the animal care specialist from Ocean Park Hong Kong will share about their rescue and conservation efforts on sea turtles, we will also get to understand the threats that the sea turtles are facing. By sharing different rescue cases of sea turtles, we will know the stories of the sea turtles and behind the scenes of their daily animal husbandry.
